Last Will & Testament

A Last Will and Testament is a basic of any Life and Estate Plan. It is certainly one of the most well-known tools! A Will is a document created by an individual known as a Testator to preserve his or her last wishes related to the disposition of assets, the protection of dependents, and the administration of the estate. It must be executed according the particular requirements of the Testator’s state in order to be effective and there are limits to what can be handled by a Will. It does not become effective until after the death of the Testator and its admission to probate. In simple terms, a Will requires a judge to issue orders based on the terms of the Will.
