Kirsten Schroeder Larsen
Kirsten Larsen is a 1996 graduate of the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Law. She received her Kansas license in 1996 and Missouri in 1997. She began serving families directly out of law school with her family law and estate planning practice located in the Brookside area of Kansas City, Missouri. She has practiced in the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas and the Western District of Missouri. After running a practice for five years she decided to stay home with her growing family.
During those seven years she started and ran a successful employee leasing company, served on the Board of Directors of her home association, and was an active member of the PTA. She chaired initiatives to promote healthy living through the grade school. She introduced the Walk to School program and obtained a grant to establish recycling and reusable products such as party plates to reduce trash.
In 2009 she returned to the practice of law. She decided to “go solo” again in 2013 with a goal to find better ways to provide protective legal services to her clients.
Prior to attending law school, she was a technical writer at Cerner Corporation in Kansas City, Missouri, and earned a B.S. in Journalism at the University of Kansas in 1991. Currently she resides with her family in the Kansas City area and spends an inordinate amount of time in the car.
